Rory graduates preschool!! ~ May, 2011

I am so proud to congratulate my daughter, Rory, for graduating from preschool! I can't believe she will be going to elementary school next year! Here are her "official" graduation portraits. The fabulous head band is made by my friend, Kate. Congratulations, Rory!! :)

Kelsey at 3 weeks ~ April, 2011

I thought I posted these, but I do not see them on my page. Well, here they are. I was very honored to have Miss Kelsey as my very first official photo shoot. I was also very ambitious (well, crazy, actually) to have a newborn as my first photo shoot, & to have a newborn that is over 10 days old. She made me work for it, but I think it was worth it in the end. So, here is the adorable Kelsey (with a guest appearance by her mommy)....

Scouting Cantigny Park in Wheaton ~ May, 2011

On Mother's Day, my family & I spent the day at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. The weather was perfect & I wanted to see what was in bloom. So, my lovely children filled in as my models. They absolutely loved the park & did not really want to pose for me, but they cooperated, for the most part. :) So, these pictures were to give you (& me) an idea of how great of a location it is to film. I also got to experiment with my lenses & now have a good idea of what I will be using there. So, my lovely children are playing the part of photography subjects. I think they did a pretty good job. :) I hope you enjoy the beauty of Cantigny & I hope to take a lot of pictures there this summer (& in the fall).
